Welcome to Rockoff Festival, the big summer music event in the heart of Mariehamn. On 17–25 July, the town square transforms into a lively festival area with music, food and drink, and more than 30 live performances on stage.
The whole town comes alive during Rockoff week, filled with crowds and a joyful atmosphere. Over nine action-packed days in July, around 28,000 visitors gather in the square to socialise and enjoy food, music, summer and a fantastic vibe.
During the day, entry is free. In the evening, from 19:00 to 24:00, a ticket is required – choose between a festival pass or a day ticket. The programme offers a wide mix of artists, from pop and Melodifestivalen favourites to hard rock, party music and house.
Favourites for everyone
Each evening features concerts with one or more artists, often with different themes. Artists popular among children and young people usually open the evening. Between performances, the house band keeps the energy high on the smaller stage.
On the main stage, you can see artists such as Soppgirobygget, Takida, Niklas Strömstedt, Medina, von Disco, Freddy Kalas, Ida-Lova and Dolly Style.
The restaurant offers the best view
Some prefer to stand close to the stage, dancing and singing along, while others like to sit down with a good view. If that sounds like you, book dinner at the VIP stand for the best seats at the festival – but hurry, as they sell out quickly.
When the last artist leaves the stage, the festival continues with Rockoff’s official afterparty at Kino Nightclub on Nygatan 1. The final festival night traditionally ends with fireworks.
