wellComing packages Åland experiences

Tempted by an Africa-safari in Åland? A Viking style conference? A gala dinner aboard the sailing ship Pommern? Or maybe something completely different?
Travel organizer wellComing specialises in packaged trips with activities to Åland, completely by request.

wellComing focuses mainly on private groups and companies who want to arrange conferences and other meetings for their employees or customers who are looking out for something special.

An Olympiad
This something extra could for example be a conference with a Viking theme. After a conference the group will dress in period clothes – a fun way to leave work and all the seriousness behind – and then the “Vikilympics” can begin! This is an Olympiad in the Viking spirit where you in good spirit compete in different Olympic events. Afterwards you eat and drink in a Viking longhouse with an open fireplace in the middle of the building.

The Viking theme is just one example of several that wellComing can offer. A safari with an Africa theme is another possibility, where the participants begin by paddling canoes along one of Ålands “rivers” and then have a barbecue around a camp fire.

Welcomes new ideas
wellComing is not bound by known themes. “We can develop and expand our program according to our customers’ wishes. We cooperate with a number of different Åland actors in the branch and we make sure the wholeness of the entire package works. We will also of course, beside the activities, arrange for the trip to and from Åland, transports in Åland and accommodations – in short, everything you need for your Åland stay”, says John Sjölund at wellComing.

Åland is beautiful in the summer but it also has its charm in the winter season – something that John Sjölund would like to recommend.

“I think Åland is wonderful all year round and I would also like our guests to experience the countryside and the archipelago”, he says and proposes: “Maybe your company wants to eat Christmas dinner in the Åland archipelago this year?”
